Popular Orchids
Cattleya orchids are native to Central and South America as well as the Caribbean. They are known for their large, showy flowers. Cattleyas are commonly used in corsages - hence the popular name - the Prom Orchid. They normally flower during the winter and spring months and colors may range from white to dark lavender. Many varieties are quite aromatic.
